We have endeavored in doing the unthinkable - is it possible to clean up dust lodged within a hole 100 nanometers in diameter (1/100,000th of one centimeter)? Is it possible to convert tons of chemical compounds with only one gram of catalyst? Is it possible to conduct a test using only 1/1,000th of one milliliter of blood? We have challenged these issues, that at first glance seem unreasonable, but we have made contributions to developments in the fields of medical diagnostics, chemical processes that reduce the burden on the environment and next - generation ULSI manufacturing technologies.

Now, with the slogan "Creative Thinking and Technology for Tomorrow 21" we demonstrate our desire to do more than remain content with our accumulated expertise. We seek to further improve our technologies through collaborative research with companies, universities and public research institutions.
