M-GGMC-1(HIK1083)
Anti-Mucin Monoclonal AntibodyRecognizing Gastric Gland Mucous Cells
M-GGMC-1 is a monoclonal antibody that recognizes the peripheral a-linked GlcNAc residue present in the carbohydrate moiety of the mucin molecule and reacts with oligosaccharides bearing a peripheral a-GlcNAc structure.2 M-GGMC-1 recognizes the gastric gland mucous cell-derived mucin and the reactivity of M-GGMC-1 is similar to the Paradoxical concanavalin A staining method.4 It is indicated that M-GGMC-1 is a useful tool for early diagnosis of mucinous minimal deviation adenocarcinoma of the uterus (adenoma malignum) or bronchioloalveolar carcinoma with secreting cells.3, 1
