phi29 DNA Polymerase set

>phi29 DNA polymerase is a replicative polymerase from Bacillus subtilis pharge phi29. The polymerase with a powerful strand displacement activity and a proofreading exonuclease function has been used for Whole Genome Amplification（WGA) etc. This kit containing highly purified phi29 DNA polymerase allows obtaining the target genome without nonspecific amplification.

Characteristics

●High activity at about 30℃
●Extreme strand displacement activity
●Extreme processivity (50-200 bp/sec)
●Extreme extensibility (up to 70 kbp fragments)
●An inherent 3´→5' proofreading exonuclease activity
●Low error rates (100-1000 times lower than Taq DNA polymerase)
